Privacy Notice
Simple, limited data collection.
Project Mexica is a prototype website. We collect only the data needed to operate the gallery poll, respond to messages, and keep the site working.
Medallion Poll
When you vote in the gallery, your selected medallions are stored in your browser so the page remembers your top three.
When the live Neon-backed tally is connected, the poll API may also store:
- Your selected medallion IDs.
- Basic technical request data, such as browser user-agent and referring page.
- A hashed visitor fingerprint derived from technical request data to reduce duplicate voting.
- The date and time of the vote.
The poll is meant to measure concept interest, not identify voters personally.
You can remove your current browser's poll data by going to the gallery poll and clicking Reset my vote. This clears the picks stored in your browser and asks the poll API to delete the vote tied to your current hashed visitor fingerprint.
Because the poll does not collect names, accounts, emails, or logins, we usually cannot identify or delete a vote from a different device or browser.
Chatbot
The site chatbot answers most questions from a built-in FAQ that runs entirely in your browser. For questions the built-in FAQ does not cover, your message is sent to a third-party language-model provider over an encrypted connection to generate a reply. The reply is shown to you and is not displayed to other visitors.
When the language-model fallback is used, the chatbot API may also store, on our Neon database:
- The text of your message (only when it falls through to the language model).
- A short excerpt of the reply that was shown to you.
- A hashed visitor fingerprint derived from technical request data — the same hash used for the medallion poll, so a single reset clears both.
- The date and time of the exchange.
The chatbot does not require an account and does not ask for seed phrases, wallet secrets, passwords, government IDs, or payment credentials. Please do not paste sensitive personal information into chatbot messages.
To remove your chatbot history along with your poll data, visit the gallery poll and click Reset my vote. This clears the records tied to your current hashed visitor fingerprint on both the poll and the chatbot log.
Travel Map
The travel hub uses public OpenStreetMap map tiles to display place markers and route context. When you open the map, your browser may request map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap-related infrastructure. Project Mexica does not control those third-party map requests or their logs.
Email
If you contact Project Mexica by email, the message and your email address are used to reply and manage the inquiry. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or sensitive identity documents by email.
Hosting Logs
GitHub Pages, Vercel, Neon, and related infrastructure providers may process standard technical logs such as IP address, request time, browser data, and error data to deliver and secure the site.
Prototype Status
Project Mexica is a prototype/testnet demonstration. The site does not currently offer financial products, token sales, legal tender, investment contracts, or guaranteed rewards.
